I work in the Technical Services department of the Marin County Free Library, and have been stitching on and off since I was about 16 years old. The craft runs in my family - back to my maternal great-grandmother as far as I can tell and maybe farther. Both my work and my needlework reflect my love of learning, organizing and an appreciation for the process that yeilds a product one can be proud of. The library has been an invaulable resource for my progess into stitching - I have the entire world of books published on every needlework-related subject imaginable at my fingertips (and it's free!).
